Good Morning everyone! I am glad to be back today and all the moving is almost done. We had planned on getting the remaining items moved over the weekend but my husband was a bit under the weather so it will wait until next Saturday. However, I was able to get quite a bit of stitching in over the weekend and I am so glad. It was nice to relax and watch netflix and flosstube while stitching for many hours. So, I will get started here showing what I worked on.
I had started the 4th ornament in the Brooke's Books Advent Animals and I am almost finished. I only need to stitch the border.
This is a picture of 272 Words the last time I posted a pic of it.
This picture shows the progress I made this past weekend.
I also worked on the Giant Harry Potter by CloudsFactory. The first picture shows the small start I had posted the last time.
This picture shows my progress. I do have to frog out the last blue motif on the right side. I was frustrated so just put it away yesterday and will rip out the next time I pick it up.
I do have a small amount of haul but failed to take pictures so I will get that up later this week. A stitcher had posted on one of the facebook stitch groups a couple of weeks ago about having found magnetic boards at Target for $3. After work that day, I ran to our local Target but they did not have them. My mom was able to find them at hers, so I had her to get me two of them. I added some of my needleminders to one of them over the weekend. I should be able to fill up both of them by the time I unpack all of my minders. I had been looking around for awhile and was so excited to learn about these. I think I might wish I had purchased a couple more.
What have you been stitching on? And how do you display your needleminders? I hope you all have a great stitchy week.
You have made good progress on your projects. Where are the magnetic boards located in Target? Thanks for the information! Glad to hear that you are almost finished with the move!
ReplyDeleteRobin-They were in the front of the store where they have the dollar bins.
DeleteLove your WIPS and your Harry Potter border is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love the colors on this project, they are so vibrant on the white fabric.
DeleteEverything is coming along so nicely. Glad your moving is almost over. Hope your Hubby gets to feeling better. I haven't been doing much stitching, but I have been crocheting doilies. Wishing you a lovely day. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThanks! Very nice on the doilies-I am trying to learn to quilt very slowly and don't know what Im going to do when I have two different types of crafts with tons of wips.
DeleteYour big HP is coming along and I love that little scotty dog :) My minders are on a framed magnetic board from HB, I put them at the top (I don't have very many) and it sits right by my stitching chair and I put my chart on it too so that it's not flying all over the place :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment! I am in love with the Brooke's Books ornaments and each one becomes my new favorite as I stitch it.
DeleteThanks to this entry, you solved my dilemma of what to do
ReplyDeletefor a Cousin who spoils her Scotty.. The perfect Christmas ornament. She will be delighted..
Isn't it the cutest? I think that would be a great gift.
