Weekly Stitching

Welcome to March! I hope the weather is nice where you are. It has been rainy but much warmer here in KY over the past few days. It was wonderful to have the windows open yesterday and let the fresh air in.

I have only worked on 272 Words this past week. Here is where I was at when I started this week.

This is where I stopped last night. It is my goal to finish this by the end of March. I am on the last three lines of wording and I only have left the info about the Gettysburg Address at the bottom and the border around the entire piece.

I also had a big surprise this week. My Millenium Frame arrived!! I ordered it on September 16, 2016 and it finally made its way to me. I am very excited about getting it but very disappointed in the quality of their customer service as I had to email and call several times and had been told it was shipped two months ago, even though it was only shipped a week ago. So, I am hoping it will be worth the wait and hassle of trying to get it. Do any of you have one? What do you think of it?

  1. Have it - love it .... depending upon the linen, you might
need some patience loading the heavier ones into the rod.
Fabric remains taut. I guess there is always a better one out there somewhere, but this one is fine.

    1. Thanks! It is great hearing from someone that already has one.

  2. Love seeing your progress on this! And you are tempting me to get a Millenium. I just wish they didn't have such issues with shipping! Wouldn't it be great to be able to get them at an LNS?

    1. I know. If they were easier to get, I think I would want one in all sizes.

  3. Your 272 Words is looking good, Laura. I don't own/use one of those frames, so I am no help on that score. Enjoy your week!

  4. Great progress on the 272 words. I love stitching lettering. I also love the Brooke's Book's animals from the previous posts.
I have spoken to John on the phone, chasing up a US friend's order for her frame. He is a lovely man but there is only him and his wife who is very occupied with their young child. If I lived closer to them I would take over the customer contact work because I hate hearing about disatisfied customers! Especially when the product is so good.
Nicola did a video clip about the Millenium, the link is here:
