Weekly Stitching

I finished a piece this past week and you can see the picture and details in my previous post. I didn't want to reshare since it already had its own post. This piece was started several months ago and I had Colorado, Kansas, and part of Wyoming completed and then I added the rest over this past weekend.
It is entitled America the Beautiful and the designer is Sue Hillis. I am stitching it on 16 count aida and using DMC threads. I have included this piece in my Year of WIPS challenge and plan to have this finished within the next year.

I have a Finish!

I joined the Year of Wips to see if I couldn't get several finished. It started on October 1 and will end on December 31, 2017. I picked out 20 wips to try to finish during this challenge. I am very excited as this is the first wip in that challenge that I have completed. I have a couple of others that are very close and I wanted to get those that were close out of the way early and then go to the ones that need more work.

Weekly Stitching

I did not stitch much this past week. It just seems that I would get home from work and just wanted to be lazy. However, I did stitch quite a bit over this past weekend. The Year of WIPS started on Saturday and this piece is one that I have included in my selections to finish for that challenge. I am going to try to stitch each wip until they are finished before moving on to the next one. I did most of the wording and then all of the bottom border and part of the side border.
