Weekly Stitching

I hope you are all having cooler weather like we are here in Ky. It is so nice to be able to go outside and not sweat in the first few minutes you are out there. I also hope you were able to get some good stitching in this past week. I did over the weekend and while I didn't get as much done as I had hoped, I did have some progress.

I started the Kings and Queens of England by Bothy Threads. I am almost done with the first one and it is my goal to do one a week.

I love this sampler and think the colors look so good on this fabric. Needles and Pins by Theron Traditions.

This what it looked like before I stitched on it over the weekend.

The piece looks like this now.

The completed piece will look like this.

I also worked on The New England Schoolgirl Sampler by Theron Traditions. I skipped around a little as I need a couple of threads.

It looked like this the last time you saw it.

And now.

This is the completed piece.

Have a great stitchy week!!!

  1. Laura, you made good stitching progress on your pieces. I really like both of the Theron Traditions designs. Your Kings and Queens of England is interesting. Enjoy your week!

    1. I have wanted the Kings and Queens for awhile, it is a little more cartoonish that what I would normally stitch but I can't pass up much that is England related.

    1. Thanks! I don't feel like I stitch that quickly. I just spend most of the weekends doing it.

  3. Three great projects there. I hope you are brushing up on your history as you stitch the Kings and Queens.

    1. JO-This is fantastic!!! I had never seen this before. I love history especially England and you have given me a great idea to provide a little bio or some info here on the blog on each king or queen as I stitch them.
