Weekly Stitching

Happy Monday to you all! I hope you are enjoying some nice fall weather. The weather has been gorgeous here the last few days.

I started a new SAL project with a group of stitchers on November 1. As you can see, it is a very small start.

Here is a picture of the completed project.

As I had posted last week, I had to rip out a good portion on this one and restitch, so I have decided to go row by row in hopes that I don't get so far off again.

This picture shows where I was before I stitched on it this past week.

This is where I am now.

I also started and finished this Pine Mountain kit that my friend Denita sent me for my birthday. It was a quick and fun stitch. I still need to iron and place in the pillow to where it is straight.

More Birthday Goodies

Yesterday I had two packages waiting when I got home and I am so excited to share what I received. I have decided stitch friends are just the best and they give the most thoughtful gifts.

My friend Denita sent these and some thread that I forgot to take a pic of and I will add later.

This is a table runner that has been made into a project bag and couldn't be cuter. Now that I have seen one and looked at how it is made, I am going to try to make some of my own.

My friend Cindi sent me these items.

She made this ort jar and I am posting several pics so you can see it all.

Birthday Goodies

Today is my birthday!!!! Last Friday, my husband called me and said you received a package today. I was excited as I thought it was some patterns that I had ordered, but I get home to this box. (Please excuse my messy bed)

Inside was this! The softest, warmest blanket I think I have ever felt and this beautiful pillow! My stitch friend Judy sent this to me and I was so surprised. She sent these to match my Patriotic Stitch wall that is in progress. So, this will be my pillow to lean on and the blanket I cover up with in my stitch spot as I stitch this winter.

Flosstube

I just realized that I haven't made a post sharing a favorite flosstuber in awhile, so today is the day.

I met Judy on a facebook group and we became quick email buddies and talk about our stitching and life. She is one of the sweetest ladies I think I have ever known and I definitely hope I will have the chance to meet her in person one day. Her stitching is gorgeous and she is a member of the BAP club like me! Be sure and check out her channel and subscribe.

Weekly Stitching

I started London this past week and it is on another post but I am putting here so you can see all of the weekly stitching.

I started another project on Saturday, October 29. It is a SAL that I am participating in on the facebook group called Patriotic Stitches. I started it and got quite a bit done, only to realize that I was two rows off. So I had to frog quite a bit.

I had this much done and had to frog out the red star on the left side and the bottom three rows of text.

I decided to go straight across in hopes of keeping myself on track and not having to fix it again.

This is the finished piece.

Haul

I haven't posted haul in a couple of weeks as I have been waiting on some things to come in. However, I made some purchases today on Etsy and thought I would go ahead and share them. I really like this store and it is where I purchased London last week. I went today to purchase Manhattan and there is a great sale going on. Patterns were 5.92 or you could buy 3 and get 1 free for 17.76. So, I did the buy 3 get 1 free plus 2! They are all BAP's and who knows if I will ever complete them but it was just one of those I must have these today situations.

The store is called Born to Cross.

I hope you enjoy and if you would like to do a SAL with me on one of these, let me know!
